Our care work within the community

Recently local people have been approaching Eirenikon Park Residential Home to support them in their choice of care at home.

The friendly manner of the carers and our flexibility to meet peoples' specific desires and scheduled appointment times has been a great attraction to many elderly folk.

Sometimes people fund their own care at home requirements and sometimes people are eligible for funding from Social Services.

Eirenikon Park Residential Home is very aware that every person can choose who their domiciliary care provider should be, with the new national rules now in effect; even if the funding comes from Social Services.

The choices available include: accompanying people on shopping trips, outings, short visits to a person’s home, meals on wheels, getting them up in the morning or helping them go to bed at night, help with meal preparation, general household tasks, support whilst going for a bath or shower, overnight care at home and full time live-in care.
